The Accademia gin, while maintaining central hints of juniper, is enhanced by the aroma of vanilla, which is perfectly complemented by enticing botanicals such as frankincense, myrrh and aloe. The spiciness of cinnamon and black pepper is given an extra boost by the tannin resulting from the ageing of the gin in barrels. Despite this, the freshness is not compromised, but rather pleasantly present thanks to the presence of citrus distillates such as bitter orange, lemon and tamarind.
